The CBSE has published the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main today on its website http://cbseresults.nic.in.
The online test was conducted on 3rd April 2016 across the country for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions and Institutions funded by participating State Governments.

The online test was conducted on 3rd April 2016 across the country for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions and Institutions funded by participating State Governments. The offline test was conducted on 9th and 10th April 2016.
The candidates are directed to visit the JEE (Main) website to access the result. By entering the Roll Number and Date of Birth, the candidates can get their JEE Main scores. On the basis of JEE Main 2016 score, two lakh candidates will be shortlisted for the IIT-JEE Advanced 2016 Examination, scheduled to be held on 22nd May 2016.
The JEE Main 2016 Result is declared in two phases every year. In the first phase, JEE Main 2016 score for individual candidates will be issued. Based on this score, 2 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for JEE (Advanced). After the completion of JEE Advanced Exam 2016, the CBSE will begin the process of announcing All India Rank for JEE Main 2016, which will mark the beginning of the second phase of JEE Main Admission Process.
Tentatively, CBSE has declared 30 June 2016 as the probable date for the declaration of JEE Main 2016 Rank. Final admission to different engineering colleges will take place on the basis of JEE Main Rank through counselling process.
