Design and Development of High-Resolution Spectroscopic Diagnostics on SST-1 and ADITYA-U Tokamak:

Post Name :Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 02

Duration :Two Years (Coterminous with the Project – Expected Completion Date: August 2018)

Education Qualification :M.Sc(Physics) + minimum 2 years of research experience.
The candidate should have the good physics background and knowledge of plasma spectroscopy.The candidate is expected to have the good understanding of tokamak physics,atomic spectral databases like NIFS, ADAS etc, data analysis techniques etc.
Knowledge of programming languages like MATLAB / Python / IDL etc is essential.Since candidate is expected to work with the high-resolution spectrometer and sCMOS/ CCD detectors and various other optical components, working knowledge of these instruments would be added benefit.

Salary: Rs. 28000 per month as per BRNS Norms.
