Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:
1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. For the positions of Professor and Associate Professor, a PhD degree is a must.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET), if so mandated. Candidates with PhD degree are exempted from the requirement of NET
3. Candidates should meet the API requirements stipulated by UGC for the positions of Professor / Associate Professor
